The Reading and Writing Center tutors would like to share our fond memories of Halloween and our thoughts on the spooky season. How do you usually celebrate Halloween? Any special traditions or activities?
My church would put on carnivals with a costume contest, cake walk, prizes, and other fun activities.
How do you usually celebrate Halloween? Any special traditions or activities?
I usually celebrate Halloween by baking, watching scary movies, and putting up Halloween decorations.
What's your favorite Halloween memory?
My favorite Halloween memory is when I went to a party with all of my friends. We had a few drinks, played games, and enjoyed good music. We also went to Denny’s afterward to eat. Overall, it was a very memorable experience spent with friends.

How do you usually celebrate Halloween? Any special traditions or activities?
I usually spend Halloween with whoever invites me to do something that year. I just like being able to be a part of something fun.
What's your favorite part about Halloween/the spooky season?
My favorite part of the spooky season is seeing how creative people get with their costumes. It’s always cool to see the range of costumes throughout the night!
What's your favorite candy/treat?
My favorite candy would have to be Reese’s peanut butter cups. There’s something about the sweet and salty mix that does it for me.
What was your favorite Halloween costume?
My favorite costume that I have dressed up as is Barnacle Boy from SpongeBob. It was fun trying to DIY a costume for him that was simple yet effective.

How do you usually celebrate Halloween? Any unique traditions or activities?
I usually pass out candy, but this is my first year celebrating with my daughter Hannah, so I'm hoping to start some new traditions.
What's your favorite part about Halloween/the spooky season?
Having an excuse to watch horror movies.

Going to the pumpkin patch with my nephew back in 2020.
